2.The book reads like old stories told by a maester. Who in your life told you family stories growing up, and did reading this bring back any of those memories?

Digging in

1.The Targaryens share a deep bond with their dragons. Did any rider-and-dragon pairing tug at your heart, and does it remind you of a pet or companion you've loved?
2.Plenty of people in these pages are hunting for a sense of home and belonging. Was there a moment when someone found (or lost) that feeling that stayed with you?
3.Among all the grand battles, were there small, tender moments, like a kindness, a friendship, or a family gathering, that felt like a warm spot in the story?
4.Our narrator often gives more than one account of the same event. When the storytellers disagreed, which version did your heart want to believe, and why?
